GARLIC AND AUTUMN BROAD BEANS PLANTED

Dug over a new bed at the Allotment for next years Garlic crop today, one row of Elephant Garlic, only 4 cloves, and 4 rows of 8 Lautrec Wight garlic that we saved from last years harvest 32 cloves in total from 4 bulbs.

The Aquadulce Claudia Broad Beans also where planted to over winter for a early crop in the spring. 3 rows of 9. We have not done this before as we normally just plant the broad beans in the spring, but we also have Broad Bean Bunyards Exhibition to plant in March for a second cropping just in case.
