Forgot to take a photo this visit to the Allotment, but quite a few of the Lautrec Wight garlic's are now popping through the soil, and the Elephant garlic's are also showing, so happy days. The Lautrec Wight garlic cloves that we planted this year where saved from last years crop so I'm glad to see that they a growing. Saved us £11.96 by keeping back those four heads of garlic. Hopefully we get a good crop and we can save some back again for future years. The plan is to also save back some of the Elephant garlic as well.
The Aquadulce Claudia Broad Beans are doing great, three full rows of nine, with couple of spares in the middle.
The Thor F1 peppers did not like the cold snap we had, all the leaves wilted, so we had to cut them all down to just above ground level, nothing else is growing in the poly-tunnel so it's worth leaving them in just in case they make it to spring.
What else? The Tabascos are still poor, so maybe next weekend I'll pick the plants clean of all the fruit and clear out the greenhouse ready for next season.
The Brussels Sprout ‘Bright’ F1 are still coming along good.
Brought home yet another Cabbage (Kilaton F1), some Kale Borecole Vates Blue Curled for tonight's dinner, but left all the Parsnip Gladiator F1 in the ground this week.
