Our old firepit bowl after a good few years had seen better days. So with upcycle and reuse in mind it's now been converted into a herb Mediterranean garden.
Lined it with a old compost bag, and drainage hole. Then filled with 50% potting grit, 50% compost.
Added a variegated Lemon balm that we had growing in a small pot, then after a trip to the garden centre added a Oregano, three types of thyme, "Pink Chintz","Golden" and a "Common" Thyme, a Purple Sage and a prostrate Rosemary.
Dressed the top with more potting grit and gave them all a good watering in.
I am hoping that the prostrate Rosemary, Oregano and the 3 Thymes all grow and cascade over the edges.
