The Uchiki Kuri Squash & Black Beauty Courgette are coming along quite well at last. It's been a cold wet May 2021 so far so they have all been kept in the garden poly-tunnel for now.
Out of the 10 Black Beauty Courgette seed we had only 6 germinated, but that is fine as these six plants will be fine for the allotment.
8 seeds for the Uchiki Kuri Squash of which we have 5 growing. Again not a great germination rate but still enough for the room we have to grow.
We will let these plants get quite a bit bigger, then we will prepare the spaces for them at the Allotment site and plant them out, but for now they can stay protected at home.
